| CAPE COD COTTAGE
Built in 1952 by Mr. and Mrs. Redman, this house is an original. The pencil-drawn blue prints stay with the house. The craftsmanship and pride that went into building this house on its park-like setting are evident with the extra thick walls, wood molding, beautiful hardwood floors, and the Dutch doors leading to the breezeway. This home gives you a sense of openness, warmth and comfort. If you're looking for an in-law arrangement, this home has two bedrooms on the first floor and a full bath.
One of the current owner's favorite spots is in the breezeway. Imagine waking up on a Saturday morning and drinking coffee or tea in a comfy chair outside with no other houses to look at, only a beautiful lawn with gardens and mature trees situated on 2 1/2 lots. It is so very relaxing. Also, the breezeway is excellent for entertaining. Barbeques and outdoor entertaining will no longer be ruined by 'too hot' or 'rainy' days. The breezeway stays cool (especially with the outdoor ceiling fan going) and dry and is big enough to accommodate several couples for dinner. |
